19-Year-Old Man Arrested For Carrick Street Robbery
CARRICK (KDKA) -- A man was arrested Saturday for robbing someone on a street in Carrick earlier that day.
Police responded to a report of a street robbery on Minooka Street around 12:15 a.m. The male victim told police that a man approached him as he was walking near the Brownsville Road intersection and stole his iPhone and wallet, which contained a small amount of cash.

The victim described the robber as a thin black man who was about 5-feet-8-inches tall, wearing a tan hooded coat. The investigation led officers to arrest 19-year-old Kamau Thomas Jr.
Thomas is charged with robbery.
