Two dead in Westmoreland County house fire

EAST HUNTINGDON, Pa. (KDKA) - The Westmoreland County coroner confirmed a man and a woman were killed in a house fire.

Cameras were kept far back from the scene on Espey Road while crews worked to extinguish the flames.

The home caught fire around 8:30 p.m. on Friday and the coroner said two people were found dead inside. They were identified as 87-year-old Ernest Wright Sr. and his 82-year-old wife, Nancy Wright.

A cause of death has not yet been determined.

The coroner's office was able to confirm the couple's son was working out of town and was notified. The coroner's office had earlier asked for help finding the victims' family. 

The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating the fire.
