Local McDonalds Stores To Offer Free Breakfast To Students

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Local McDonalds stores are offering free meals to students preparing for standardized testing.

According to a news release, from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 4, participating restaurants will serve a free healthy breakfast to all students in grades 3 - 8 who visit with an adult.

The "Test Your Best" meal includes an Egg McMuffin, apple slices, and choice of white or chocolate milk. Students will also receive a No. 2 pencil!

"All of us at McDonald's understand how important it is for kids to eat a well-balanced breakfast every morning before school," said Dan Delligatti, president of the local consortium of McDonald's Owner/Operators.
