Lane Closures Planned For Rt. 28 Overnight

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Route 28 will close down one lane in either direction overnight Saturday.

PennDOT will close the lanes between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

These are the closures according to PennDOT:

NORTHBOUND
• A left lane closure will occur between the Chestnut Street overpass and the 31st Street Bridge. Crews will conduct patching operations.

SOUTHBOUND
• A right lane closure will occur at the 31st Street Bridge. Crews will conduct concrete gutter work

All ramps and bridges will remain open.

Drivers can call 511 to check the road conditions.
