Lynsey Winters was our "tour guide." She took us through this maze of holiday lights fun.

"It's a great place just to stroll around with the whole family – enjoy some of our rides," Winters said.

Some have been added to this holiday rotation.

"For the first time ever – you can take rides on the racer during holiday lights," Winters said. "The Music Express for the first time ever, the Arrow 360 for the first time ever."

There's also a new "Rudolph Zone." You can take photos with Yukon Cornelius, and be on the island of misfit toys.

"Throughout the zone, you'll meet Rudolph, Clarice, Sam the Snowman, and Bumble," Winters said.

In the heart of it all – it's the lagoon, with a new light show!

"It's about a seven-minute show – it's really great, really interactive… a lot of your favorite Christmas songs," Winters said.

When it comes to food, there's candy, fudge – even deep-fried smores!

"We have a few different flavors," Winters said. "Chocolate, chocolate peanut butter… and then they'll actually be a rotating flavor of the day during holiday lights."

And of course – the tallest Christmas tree in the state is there too.

"It's the perfect option," Winters said. "Perfect photo opportunity – perfect holiday card opportunity for the whole family."

The trees – the lights? It has the feeling of holiday magic!

"We're gearing up – and we're excited for it," Winters said.

If you're planning to come this weekend, the hours on Friday night are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Then on Saturday and Sunday – it's 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Kennywood's Holiday Lights was recently nominated by USA Today as one of the best theme park holiday events throughout the country.
