Motorcyclist Killed In I-376 Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-376 in Rosslyn Farms on Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 5:45 p.m.

According to state police, 37-year-old Luke McGee, of Pittsburgh, was traveling on his motorcycle in the right-hand lane of I-376 westbound when a pick-up truck that was traveling in the left lane changed lanes and turned in front of McGee.

McGee crashed into the back of the pick-up truck and was thrown from the bike.

McGee was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police had I-376 westbound closed to traffic at the I-79 split for about three hours.

The road reopened around 9:10 p.m.
