Plans For Hyperloop Stop In Pittsburgh More Uncertain

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Plans for a Hyperloop stop in Pittsburgh are more uncertain, as the company behind the proposed project cut its staff.
The Financial Times reports Virgin Hyperloop is laying off 100 workers. The company will also shift its focus from passenger to freight service.
Pittsburgh was one of several cities listed on a proposed route to Chicago via Columbus, Ohio, that Virgin was working on.
