Death of missing 19-year-old Dorian Serrano ruled homicide
JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. (KDKA) - The human remains found near the Montour Trail in November were identified and the medical examiner ruled the manner of death a homicide.
On Jan. 2, Allegheny County police said detectives found the remains near the trail in Jefferson Hills during an investigation into Dorian Serrano's disappearance. On Feb. 8, the medical examiner identified the remains as Serrano and on Feb. 28, his cause of death was ruled a gunshot wound and his manner of death a homicide.
The 19-year-old died on Nov. 17, 2022, according to the coroner.
According to police, Serrano's family last saw him on June 14, 2022, in Clairton. Police asked for help finding him in July.
