House Spotted Floating Down The Allegheny River

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Many people in the downtown area were surprised to see a house floating on the Allegheny River Thursday morning.

Technically it was floating on a barge, but it was still quite a sight.

The house made its way down the Allegheny River and up the Mon toward the South Side, where it docked near the Cheesecake Factory.

It was also seen floating past PNC Park before today's game:

And the odd sight prompted a lot of social media shares.

It's apparently part of a new marina near the South Side.
