Headshop Owner Headed To Court, Accused Of Selling Heroin Supplies

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The owner of a North Hills headshop is headed to court, after a federal judge Thursday refused to dismiss an indictment against him.

According to our partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Mayank Mishra and his father Akhil Mishra are accused of selling drug paraphernalia to heroin dealers.

Mayank Mishra, the owner of Rock America, was alrerady convicted in a trial this past winter of conspiring to sell heroin with Richard Bush, a major heroin supplier, following an FBI investigation that began in 2011.

On Thursday, along with refusing to dismiss the indictment, Judge Cathy Bissoon also rejected an attempt by Mayank Mishra to suppress FBI searches of his home and his parents' home.
