Gun confiscated from student at McKeesport Area High School
McKEESPORT, Pa. (KDKA) - A gun was confiscated from a student at McKeesport Area High School on Tuesday.
The district took to Facebook Tuesday morning to report that a student had entered the high school with a handgun just after 8 a.m.

A security guard checked the student's bag, and the weapon was found and turned over to the district police and administration.
"The student never made it past the security checkpoint. No staff and students were in imminent danger. The district will follow disciplinary policy and procedures. McKeesport Police will continue the investigation," the district added in their Facebook post.
