Watch: Giants' OF Perez, PNC Park Praying Mantis Become Friends
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Pirates welcomed the San Francisco Giants to PNC Park last night.
Before the game, a praying mantis decided to get up close and personal with Giants outfielder Juan Perez.
It was initially spotted walking along the dugout, but decided to say hello to Perez during the National Anthem.
Perez took it in stride and even let the praying mantis sit atop his head to watch the action from the dugout.
The Pirates won the game 4-0, but at least Perez made a new friend.
