Furry Tails: Snowflake & Nunny Are Searching For Good Homes
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Nunny
Animal Rescue League
Nunny is a cuddly girl who needs a new, loving home! She sweet and warm and just wants lots of love!
From Animal Rescue League:
Nunny is one of the sweetest kitties you will ever meet! In fact, I had a hard time getting her to sit still for a few seconds for a photo because all she wanted to do was put her paws on my shoulders and climb into my arms. This snuggly lady is with us because unfortunately her owner had to move to assisted living. But in the time Nunny lived with her, she certainly taught her all about love.
To find out more about how to adopt Nunny, visit the Animal Rescue League's website at this link!
For more information on the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit www.animalrescue.org. The Animal Rescue League is located at 6620 Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Snowflake
Animal Friends
Snowflake needs a forever family that will give him lots of belly rubs! He's a sweet kitty who wants to be the center of your universe!
From Animal Friends:
When you walk past Snowflake's room here at the shelter, the first thing you might think is, "Wow! What a big cat!" and you wouldn't be wrong. Snowflake is a big cat who is just full of love. We are watching his weight closely and he's actually lost 5 pounds since being here at the shelter, which is great!
Snowflake is about 7-years-old and he loves attention. He'll let out quite a loud meow when his favorite volunteers walk by his room. He is especially fond of belly rubs and just hanging out with his friends.
Snowflake found his way to Animal Friends after his family had to move and could not take him with them. He has lived with other cats before but has told us he'd prefer to be the only kitty this time around. (That way, he can steal all of your attention for himself!)
Come meet this sweet boy today. He'll let you rub his belly.
If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!
