Furry Tails: Pet Supply Collection At Penguins Game
Are you an animal lover? What about a Pittsburgh Penguins fan?
If you're passionate about both, Tuesday night is a great time to attend a game!
Not only are the St. Louis Blues in town, but the Penguins will be holding their annual Pet Supplies Collection before to the game. And all donations help out the Animal Rescue League.
For more information, visit the Penguins Foundation website:
The best part, the first 2,000 fans to make a donation will get a very cool Penguins Pet Bandanna. (A great way for your pet to show their Penguins pride with playoff time nearing.) Donors will also get PensPoints and the opportunity to win Pens memorabilia.
Follow the Penguins Foundation and the Animal Rescue League on Instagram:
As for what to donate, they are looking for things like dry food for kittens and puppies, treats and pet toys. Officials will also be accepting money donations.
The collection begins when the doors to the CONSOL Energy Center open and ends when the puck drops for the game. Donation tables will be set up at three gates: the American Eagle Gate, the Trib Total Media Gate and the Verizon Gate.
Again, the date of the collection is Tuesday, March 24. The game begins at 7 p.m.
