Furry Tails: Panda Is Searching For A Good Home
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Panda
Animal Friends
Looking for a cuddle companion? Panda is a loving lap cat with a big personality! And look at that face, those whiskers and big green eyes! He needs a forever home.
Animal Friends says:
We do believe we've found the feline equivalent of the large black and white bear found in China (whose name in Chinese means "big bear cat"). Our Panda is a bear of a cat! He does lumber when he walks (like his Chinese cousins) due to an old injury to his right front foot, giving him a bit of a swagger. Because of that, he's not one for running or hard play but would make a wonderful couch companion. He's happiest chilling out in a lap, being pet.
A visit with him will show you his affectionate nature and deep ursine purr - maybe you can help him lumber into your heart.
If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!
