Furry Tails: Once-Ler's Searching For A Good Home

So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Once-Ler

If you're looking to bring home a handsome and sweet guy, Once-Ler may be just the pup for you! Playful, very active and loving, this dog deserves a great forever home!
Animal Friends says:
Handsome Once-Ler loves people. He enjoys the outdoors and his daily walks, especially when he gets to stop at one of our benches and hang out on the lap of one of our volunteers. Literally, Once-Ler will stretch out across their lap with his tail wagging for as long as they let him. He has been known to sneak in a kiss or two as well!
Once-Ler came to us through our New Year's Eve Rescue, and we can't understand why he hasn't been adopted yet. He is a fun-loving and energetic guy who will make a great canine member to a family with children over the age of 8, as all of his enthusiasm may be too much for younger children. Once-Ler can be selective when it comes to other dogs, although he has been on many of our group dog walks and has done very well.
If you are looking to give an abandoned dog a new life and the fresh start he deserves, stop by and meet sweet Once-Ler soon. Just remember, he's a friendly guy who may try to snuggle on your lap, too.
