Furry Tails: Molly, Skylar & Juno Are Waiting For Forever Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Molly

Animal Friends
Sweet but bashful Molly is looking for a loving place where she can spend her senior years. Quite reserved, this kitty needs a calm and peaceful home.

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Miss Molly is a lovely 13-year-old senior cat who deserves a quiet home to call her own. A previous owner had to return her up due to family allergies. Miss Molly is a sweet girl but is a bit shy and overwhelmed by shelter life and would benefit greatly from a quiet home. Please consider giving this sweet little cat chance to have a home to spend her twilight years in.

Someone loves Miss Molly so much that they have sponsored her adoption! So she is truly priceless.

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Skylar

Animal Rescue League
Just look at those whiskers and all that fluff! Skylar is a gentle but kinda shy soul who needs a loving family to call her very own.

Animal Rescue League Pet Profile:
All whiskers, eyebrows, & big amber eyes, four-year-old Skylar is a beautiful little girl who was found stray by some kind people who couldn't keep her. Because she is a bit fearful of all the noises & smells in a shelter, she was brought to our administrative offices to give her some time away from the chaos. This kitty has begun breaking out of her shell during her time as an office cat, but she can still be nervous around strangers. Skylar does, however, seem to be interested in the well-behaved dogs who find their way to her office. She has also been around a number of cats & doesn't appear to be very fond of them. This could be due to the number of cats in the office coupled with her general anxiety. Although Skylar can be timid & initially hesitant with new people, when she is with her person, she is very gentle & happily sits on a lap for petting. All that this girl needs is a quiet home & an owner with a little patience while she learns about love. Skylar will make an amazing companion for someone who can appreciate her soft, sweet spirit. And just look at that face! If you have any questions, please email mgarcia@animalrescue.org.

Juno

Western Pa. Humane Society
Juno is a cute little rabbit with an independent spirit. She needs a patient family who can help her shed some of her shyness!

Western Pa. Humane Society Pet Profile:
I am a spayed female, brown Shorthaired Rabbit. The shelter staff think I am about 2-years-old and I weigh approximately 5 pounds.

NICKNAME: June-of-Arc
ENJOYS: Eating Timothy hay & Chewing on things
PREFERS NOT TO: Be held - I am not fond of being picked up at all. I can be a bit shy from time to time and I need some time to warm up to people. With time, TLC, and a patient owner I should adjust quite well! I'm still quite young so I have lots of time to bond with my family!
FAMILY MATCH: Adults and Respectful children only
