Furry Tails: Champ Is Searching For A Good Home
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Champ is an adventurer who needs an active family that's ready to keep up with him! This fun-loving, enthusiastic pooch is ready to find his loving forever home!

This friendly, spirited guy just can't wait for his next adventure. Champ is a fun-loving guy and really knows how to have a good time.
A great way to get to know Champ is to take him to training or behavior classes. The use of positive reinforcement techniques are recommended to help Champ become a well-mannered member of the family.
Since Champ is extremely energetic and he'd love opportunities to positively channel his enthusiasm. Long walks in the park or a nice game of fetch in the backyard are ways to help Champ release some of his energy.
Champ would do best in a home with children over twelve. He gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing with some of them here at the shelter. So if you have a dog friendly canine in your home, please let us know and we can set up a meet and greet with you, your pet, and Champ!
