Furry Tails: Audrina, Melman & Sheeba Are Waiting For Forever Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Sheba

Animal Rescue League

Sheba is one lovely lady! This green-eyed beauty is looking for a forever family that will give her lots of love but also space when she needs it. Could you open your heart to her?

Animal Rescue League Pet Profile:
Are you looking for an independent companion cat? Sheba, a 10-year-old, long-haired, gray female with striking emerald green eyes could be the girl for you! Brought to the shelter over a year ago when her owner developed health issues, Sheba went to a foster home because she was unhappy in a cage and now resides at the shelter in a cat colony room. She quickly won over the hearts of her foster family and became a fast favorite. Sheba loves being petted and enjoys her daily brushing as well. She does like things her own way and needs a family that really wants to get to know her and will give her the time and space she needs to be comfortable. Usually quiet, Sheba does have a chatty side and will occasionally want to tell you all about her day. She's an active girl who loves to play and particularly loves the "cat dancer" toy. She also loves to watch the activity outside windows so that she can keep an eye on the neighborhood. A perfect lady, she always uses her litter box and is very neat.

Sheba is looking for a quiet adults-only home where she can be the only animal or live with one other calm, independent cat. If you think Sheba could be the cat for you, please contact swellington@animalrescue.org or come visit this sassy beauty at the Animal Rescue League.

For more information on the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit www.animalrescue.org. The Animal Rescue League is located at 6620 Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pa.
