Former Governor Tom Ridge: 'I Won't Be Voting For Donald Trump'
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge says for the first time since he started voting at the age of 18, he will not be voting for the Republican nominee.
The former Governor made that statement in an editorial posted on Penn Live.
Ridge says the Republican Party is a family to him, a family he has belonged to for more than 50-years.
Ridge says that his streak of voting for a Republican nominee in every election will come to an end this November.
Tom Ridge also said his disregard for Donald Trump has been well documented and that he is disappointed in the Republican's choice for nominee.
Ridge also says he cannot support Hillary Clinton.
In his editorial Ridge says, "Over the next six months I have chosen to focus my energies not on the presidency, but on maintaining Republican control of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate."

Ridge says he will now work to get Senator Pat Toomey and Senator Rob Portman of Ohio reelected this fall.
