Fatal Two Vehicle Accident Kills Motorcyclist In Westmoreland County

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) - One person is dead after a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a car in Westmoreland County.
The Westmoreland County Coroner's Office reports the motorcycle driver, Andrew Perratone, was killed in an accident at the intersection of Route 982 and Industrial Boulevard.
The coroner's office says the car crossed the center line while trying to turn into a driveway.
The car and the motorcycle then hit in a type of head-on collision.
The impact threw the motorcyclist from his bike.
The coroner's office says he was wearing a helmet at the time and was pronounced dead on the scene.
