Evgeni Malkin Posts New Photo With His "Best Friends"
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's been a whirlwind couple of days for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Stanley Cup champions arrived back in Pittsburgh Monday night after defeating the San Jose Sharks in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final over the weekend.
And ever since the closing seconds of the game when Patric Hornqvist scored into an empty net to seal the win and the championship, it's been one big party.
Starting on the charter flight back to Pittsburgh, the Pens have taken to social media to document their celebration.
Like Scott Wilson, who posted this photo to his Twitter account.

On Instagram, Letang and Evgeni Malkin shared these photos of them posing with their wives and the Stanley Cup.
And then there's this photo that Malkin posted to his Instagram account Tuesday evening. In it, he and captain Sidney Crosby pose with the Stanley Cup.
The caption reads, "Best Friends." And we totally agree, Geno, the two best friends any international hockey star could ever need – Sid and Stanley!
Finally, there's this group shot that Letang posted to Twitter Tuesday night.

The party will get even bigger on Wednesday when the Penguins share the championship with the entire City of Pittsburgh. A parade will wind through the streets of Downtown Pittsburgh and end with a rally.
Even the players are excited for celebration.
Wow!!! What a year it's been. Thanks for all the support. Can't wait for the parade????????????
