Denver Broncos Now America's Favorite Team, Steelers Move Up To #5
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – After six years at the top, the Denver Broncos have replaced the Dallas Cowboy's as America's favorite football team according to a new poll.
The Harris poll shows the Pittsburgh Steelers moving up two spots to take number 5 on the list.
According the poll, the NY Giants move up to 2nd and the Green Bay Packers slip to 3rd.
The Harris Poll surveyed more than 2500 adults, with 1275 whom follow professional football.
The Seattle Seahawks took off this year, after winning the Super Bowl, the Seahawks soared up six spots to become the 6th most popular team.
The San Francisco 49ers come in at number 7, while the New England Patriots drop to 8th.
Rounding out the top ten are the Chicago Bears, and the New Orleans Saints.
At the bottom of the list: the Jacksonville Jaguars who share the spot with the Tennessee Titans this year.
As for early Super Bowl favorites 28% say the Seattle Seahawks will repeat as Super Bowl champions, while 19% say it will be the Denver Broncos.
