West Virginia dentist charged with invasion of privacy

WEIRTON, W.Va. (KDKA) -- A West Virginia dentist is facing charges after police said a concealed camera allegedly was found in his office's employee bathroom.

Dr. Jeremy Michael Crow is accused of putting a hidden camera in an employee bathroom. He turned himself in at the Weirton Police Department on Monday.

Weirton Police Chief Charlie Kush says an employee reported finding the camera inside of a water bottle in the bathroom back in May.

Police say at least 10 female employees reported seeing the same evidence.

According to the chief, there's no evidence that any cameras were placed in the office's public bathroom.

Dr. Crow's attorney is reviewing the allegations. He says he believes there are holes in the case and and looks forward to taking the case before a jury, adding that Dr. Crow will continue his dental practice.

Chief Kush says the 45-year-old Washington County man is facing nearly 40 counts of criminal invasion of privacy.

A phone call to Crow's office by media went to voicemail, but there was no return call.

Dr. Crow was released on $20,000 bond following his arraignment.

Weirton is about 35 miles (60 kilometers) west of Pittsburgh.
