Crime Stoppers: Arrest Warrants Issued For Suspects In Shooting At Homewood Vigil

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police have issued arrest warrants for two Homewood men in connection with a shooting last September that left three people wounded.

Gregory Parker Jr., 17, and Demetres Beck, 21, face charges of aggravated assault, conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person.

Detectives say the two fired shots at a group of people who had gathered on Monticello Street in North Homewood. Ironically, the gathering was a vigil for Anton Smith, who was killed in a 2013 shooting.

Emily Schaffer, a Pittsburgh Police spokeswoman, says the wounded included two children, ages 3 and 12, and a 49-year old woman was also shot. All three victims have recovered.
