Counting Down The Top 10 Notable Draft Picks Of The Mike Tomlin Era: Number 9

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Over the next 10 days, Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com will be counting down the "Then Draft Picks Of Note" from the Mike Tomlin era.

Counting down from 10, Larrabee lists David DeCastro as the 10th most notable draft pick Tomlin has made.

DeCastro was drafted by the Steelers with the 24th overall pick of the 2012 Draft out of Stanford.

Expectations were high for DeCastro coming out of college, but his rookie season was cut short after tearing an MCL and suffering from a dislocated kneecap during the preseason.

Since recovering from those injuries though, DeCastro has lived up to expectations starting 24 out of 25 games he's appeared in.
