Coronavirus In Pennsylvania: Visitors Litter, Vandalize State Parks
HARRISBURG (KDKA) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources said there were high volumes of visitors in state parks last weekend.
But with those high volumes of people came high volumes of trash.
The DCNR said many visitors left behind piles of trash, dog waste and graffiti throughout the state parks.
"The first odd thing I noticed was the diaper in the parking lot," said Katy Macanallen who was taking photos in Moraine State Park on Saturday.
The DCNR reminded visitors on Facebook to #LeaveNoTrace the next time they visit a state park and take their trash with them.
