Concert and Art Show Benefit
EAST LIBERTY (KDKA)- A fundraiser will be held in East Liberty today, to benefit a charity near and dear to two sisters, who were murdered in their home.
Wolfe and her sister Susan were shot to death inside their Chislett Street home back in February. Police have charged their next door neighbor in the crime.
A group of local artists will host a concert and art show today at the Commonwealth Press warehouse on Wharton Street in the South Side. It runs from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the "Girls Rock! Pittsburgh" program in Pittsburgh, a music camp that seeks to empower girls from ages 8 to 18.
Sarah Wolfe's colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh wanted to do something to contribute to a charity in honor of Sarah and Susan.
