Police: Missing Columbus Girl Safe With Family In Pa.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- After police in Columbus, Ohio, said they were "devoting many resources" to a search for a 4-year-old girl who has ties to Pittsburgh, it turns out she was not missing after all.
Police credited KDKA with helping the proper information on the girl come out. The family of the girl, who is actually in middle school, contacted police after seeing her info. on KDKA and let them know she is safe with family in Pennsylvania and was never missing.

FYI... This case had our Missing Persons Unit working non-stop to find a 4yo who 1.) wasn't missing 2.) wasn't the reportee's daughter 3.) was never in danger 4.) is in PA We'll release the person's name who made up this story once charges are filed. https://t.co/hjXjItwmsL
