Child Hit By Car In The Strip District
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A child is doing OK after being hit by a car Saturday.
Police say it happened just before 4 p.m. at Penn Avenue and 20th Street.
Police say the 2-year-old child got away from its parents and ran into traffic.
It was hit by a driver in a maroon van.
The child was not badly injured, but was taken to Children's Hospital as a precaution.
Police also say the driver stayed on scene.
