CBS Analyst Trent Green On Chiefs Defense: "They Don't Like To Make The QB Feel Comfortable"
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - CBS Sports NFL Analyst and former two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Trent Green joined the Cook and Poni Show on Thursday to preview the Steelers-Chiefs game.
Green said the Steelers offense is very well balanced but could be in for a struggle against his former team, the Chiefs, because their defensive coordinator Bob Sutton is a longtime friend of Rex Ryan.
Sutton worked under Ryan, so he tends to run the same style of defense.
It's the same type of defense that beat Ben Roethlisberger this year against the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets.
"He likes to bring some exotic pressures," Green said. "They don't like to make the QB feel comfortable."
Green did say that the Chiefs are most vulnerable against the run and that should be the Steelers' attack with Le'Veon Bell.
