Carrick Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

CARRICK (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Police are asking for the public's help to identify a Carrick bank robbery suspect.

According to police, the robbery happened at the Huntington Bank in the 1800-block of Brownsville Road around 1 p.m. Monday.

An African-American man entered the bank with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash from two tellers.

The man is described as being about 6-feet tall with a pink, plaid shirt and dark pants. He wore a skeleton mask and black wig as well during the robbery.

While inside the bank, the suspect was on a cell phone. He fled the scene on foot to an area near the intersection of Amanda and Concordia Streets.

Police suspect he may have gotten into a car waiting in that area.
