Car Narrowly Misses Amish Buggy, Crashes Into Pole
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – At least one person was injured when a driver swerved out of the way of an Amish buggy in Indiana County.
Police say a car was traveling along Main Street in Plumville Borough and did not see an Amish buggy that had moved into oncoming traffic to make a turn.
The car then swerved into oncoming traffic, went through a garden and crashed into a utility pole.
A passenger in the car suffered moderate injury.
Police say alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
No word on any charges.
