Brett Keisel: Steelers Vs. Ravens Is Always A Bloodbath
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Former Steelers DE Brett Keisel joined "The Fan Morning Show" to preview tonight's Thursday Night Football matchup against the Ravens.
The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS starting at 8:25 p.m.
Keisel said that it doesn't get much better than Steelers vs. Ravens.
"I've always said it's the greatest rivalry in the NFL," Keisel said. "Because all records get thrown out. It's always kind of a bloodbath It's always physical. It's always nasty. There's always extracurricular things going on in between plays and after plays. So, it's one of those games fans love to watch, because it's two teams that really enjoy getting physical with one another."
Though it's easy for Steelers fans to worry about Ben Roethlisberger being out of action, Keisel said that he'd feel good about having Michael Vick as his starting quarterback, even though he knows that losing Roethlisberger is a big deal.
"I'd have confidence in Michael," Keisel said. "Every time I've played against him, he's been one of the most dynamic players in the NFL. I'm excited to watch him get out there and get some action for Ben [Roethlisberger]."
Keisel is looking forward to seeing another chapter in this great rivalry tonight.
"It's going to be a great, great game," Keisel said. "Hopefully a physical game, and hopefully a Steelers victory."
