Vehicle Crashes Into Brentwood's International Food Emporium

BRENTWOOD (KDKA) -- A Brentwood business will need extensive repairs after a vehicle crashed through the front of it on Wednesday afternoon.

According to emergency dispatchers, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Clairton Boulevard, at the intersection with Saw Mill Run Road.

The car struck the International Food Emporium, which sells African and Mexican imported foods.

Crews were able to remove the vehicle, but the storefront was left in shambles, with shattered glass and bricks lying across the sidewalk.

There's no word yet on what caused the crash or how long it will take to repair the damage.

But there were no reports of injuries.
