Body Found In Mon River Near South 18th Street

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A body was found in the Monongahela River on the South Side early Thursday afternoon.
Crews were sent to the Monongahela River near South 18th Street around 11:15 a.m. for a report of a body.
Police say the body is an unidentified male. The body was pulled from the river in the area of the 3700 block of South Water Street.
The body was taken to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.
