Blawnox Woman Ordered To Stand Trial In 2014 Torture Death
PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Blawnox woman accused of playing a role in the alleged torture and murder of a man during a robbery attempt will stand trial on homicide and other charges.
A Squirrel Hill District Judge ordered Friday that all charges be held for trial against 24-year-old Jacquelyn Nuccetelli, who will remain in the county jail until her arraignment in July.
Authorities say Nuccetelli set up 23-year-old Andrew McMunn for a robbery in April 2014. Nuccetelli told police that she and two men believed McMunn had the key to a work safe with much money inside.
His body was found that same month behind an Oakland building.
An autopsy reported McMunn died of head injuries, suffered 19 stab wounds and had a severed ear.
Nuccetelli's attorney declined comment.
