The bicyclist, who wished to remain anonymous, said he followed the SUV after the vehicle almost hit him with the intention of getting the license plate number and confronted him about the near-accident.

"I was almost hit, and then I proceeded to follow the person that [almost] hit me and hollered at him about using a turn signal and turning left into oncoming traffic, and he brandished a pistol and told me he had a license to carry and that he would expletive shoot me," the bicyclist said.

The bicyclist later said that the driver did not pull out his gun, but had it holstered and lifted up his shirt for the bicyclist to see.

Another man was in the parking garage at the time and the bicyclist says he called the police while the bicyclist took pictures of the driver. The driver reportedly then drove away.

"Personally, I don't wish any harm on the man, I just wish that they'd take away his license to carry," the bicyclist said.

Toler says the bicyclist and two people in the SUV reported similar stories. No charges will be filed, and those involved were referred to a magistrate.
