Bennett Out 4-6 Weeks, Fleury Being Tested For Possible Concussion

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without the services of Beau Bennett for a while. Meanwhile, Marc-Andre Fleury may be dealing with an injury of his own.

According to the Penguins, Bennett will be out for four-to-six weeks with an "upper-body injury."

Bennett was hit into the boards near the end of the first period of Monday's 4-1 loss to the Capitals. T.J. Oshie delivered the hit and Bennett got up and appeared to grab his shoulder-area.

No penalty was assessed on the play and Bennett did not return to the game.

In addition, the Penguins announced that Fleury is being tested for a possible concussion.

Fleury is expected to miss one-to-two weeks.

So far this season, Fleury is 13-10-2 with a 2.29 GAA and a .925 save percentage.

The Penguins will be back in action Wednesday night on the road in Boston.
