Ben & Jerry's Says Black Lives Matter, Angering Some Customers

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Ice cream company Ben & Jerry's is speaking out on a controversial issue.

Ben & Jerry's Facebook page posted a link Thursday evening reading: "Black Lives Matter. Choosing to be silent in the face of such injustice is not an option."

The Vermont-based company said in a statement that "systemic and institutionalized racism are the defining civil rights and social justice issues of our time."

While many left supportive comments, others were less than impressed with the message.
