Man Breaks Into Beltzhoover Home, Demands Money And Threatens Woman With Knife

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a break-in on W. Warrington Avenue in Beltzhoover.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police a man broke into her residence demanding the $20 she owed him.

Police identify the suspect as 37-year-old James "Jimmy" Lellock.

The victim says she slid $16 under the door and when Lellock was unsatisfied, he kicked it in.

Police say the suspect then grabbed a knife from his car and began swinging it in a stabbing motion towards the woman.

Lellock left the residence after the woman dialed 911.

The criminal report says after the initial incident, the victim went outside to find her tires slashed and believes Lellock was responsible.

He has been charged with burglary, robbery, criminal mischief, and simple assault.
