Bear Struck By Pickup Truck, Killed On I-70

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A driver crashed into and killed a bear on Interstate 70 early Sunday morning.
It happened just before 3 a.m. near Belle Vernon.
A driver from New Jersey was traveling east on I-70 when he crashed into a bear that was in the middle of the road.
The driver was treated for some minor injuries. His truck sustained major damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The bear was killed.
