PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 38-year-old Swissvale man has been charged with robbing the Key Bank on North Highland Avenue at gunpoint in East Liberty on Friday morning.

Lamar Sewell was arrested later in the day, after leading police on a car chase and then running into Frick Park. Police said they found a wig and a gun inside his car.

He told police after his arrest that voices in his head told him to rob the bank and that he'd get caught.

Two bank tellers were treated for panic attacks by paramedics, saying the robbery left them terrified.

Police thanked the public for helping point the direction they saw Sewell running after he bailed out of his car.

A judge set bail for Sewell on Saturday and he posted it on Sunday, just two days after the bank heist.
