Man Wounded In Shooting Near Monroeville Restaurant

MONROEVILLE (KDKA) -- A love triangle may have led to a shooting outside of the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant in Monroeville late Tuesday night.

Police and emergency officials were called to the parking lot between the restaurant and the HomeGoods store around 9:30 p.m.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. There's no word on his condition.

Sources tell KDKA the incident started as an alleged argument between a woman and two men, allegedly a current boyfriend and an ex-boyfriend.

Christine D'Antonio's Report:

It is unclear how many shots were fired, but one witness reported hearing a "pop, pop, pop" coming from the parking lot.

Customers inside the restaurant say they saw and heard people screaming and then running into the business.

There's no word on whether there have been any arrests.

Monroeville Police are investigating.

Officials with the restaurant have not commented on the incident.
