At Least 1 Dead In Armstrong County Crash
ELDERTON BOROUGH (KDKA) – At least one person was killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a van Thursday morning.
According to police, part of Route 422 is closed in Armstrong County because of the accident.
A tractor-trailer and a passenger van collided head-on in Elderton Borough shortly before 11 a.m. A woman in her 50s lost control and slid into the path of the oncoming truck.
Route 422 is closed in both directions between Margaret Road and Route 210.
Traffic is being rerouted around the accident scene.
Police have also been called to several other accidents in Armstrong County this morning.
Roadways may be slick as some snow has fallen in the area.
