Pirates Pitcher Chris Archer Placed On Injured List, Feliz Recalled

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pirates have placed pitcher Chris Archer on the 10-day injured list with right thumb inflammation and recalled right-handed pitcher Michael Feliz from Indianapolis.

Feliz went 0-0 with two saves and a 1.00 ERA and 12 strikeouts in seven relief appearances with Indianpolis this season.

Feliz will wear uniform number 45.
