AMBER Alert Canceled; State Police Say 17-Year-Old Stephnie White Found Safe

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pennsylvania State Police have canceled an AMBER Alert for a 17-year-old girl from southern New York who went missing here in Western Pennsylvania.
Stephnie White, 17, had last been seen in the area of Route 8 in Harrisville, Butler County.
According to state police, White was reportedly abducted by 50-year-old Michael Mesko.
However, a short time after issuing the alert, state police said they had located White safely.
Investigators say she and Mesko were found in Barkeyville, Venango County, around 8:30 a.m.
LOCATED‼️Mesko and White were located in Barkeyville, Venango County at approx. 0830 hrs. After a short pursuit, Mesko was taken into custody without further incident. Mesko was taken into custody after a short chase with the police.
White is being evaluated for injuries, state police say.
