Allegheny County police investigating shooting incident in Clairton

CLAIRTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a shooting in Clairton.

Officers were notified of an incident in the 400 block of North State Street around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

First responders found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to a news release from county police.

The investigation is ongoing.
