Aliquippa Man Killed In Overnight Beaver Co. Crash

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One man was killed in an early morning rollover crash along the Parkway West in Beaver County.

Pennsylvania State Police identify the victim as 53-year-old Michael Hawk of Aliquippa.

The one-vehicle accident happened just after 2 a.m. in Hopewell Township about two miles from the Aliquippa exit.

According to state police, Hawk's truck was heading west when it crossed several lanes, went off the road and ended up in the grass.

The truck rolled into some shrubbery, hit a hillside and overturned, landing on its roof.

There's no word yet on what caused the crash.

The investigation continues.
