Arrest warrant issued after standoff in Uniontown

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) - Uniontown police were at a house along Mifflin Avenue this afternoon due to an hours-long standoff.

One man allegedly barricaded himself inside a home, according to officials. Police said they got a 911 call from a woman who needed help after trying to get her belongings out of the home.

There were several roads blocked off between Connellsville Street and Lincoln Avenue and from West Main Street to Thomas Street.

Police later said the man involved in the incident is Jason Mills. Mills was not inside after police entered the home. Officers are now searching the home for evidence.

Anyone with information on Mills' whereabouts should call the police.
